On the afternoon of May 23rd local time, the 19th Shanghai Cooperation Organization member state Supreme Court Presidents Meeting concluded and signed the Joint Statement of the 19th Shanghai Cooperation Organization member state Supreme Court Presidents Meeting on the results of the meeting. Zhang Jun, Chief Justice of the People's Republic of China and President of the Supreme People's Court, attended the closing ceremony and delivered a speech. The Joint Statement points out that systematic and close cooperation between the judicial organs of SCO member states helps to maintain and strengthen consensus among SCO member states, ensure security, and develop good neighborly and friendly relations. The Joint Statement reached consensus on issues such as combating transnational human trafficking, widely utilizing mediation mechanisms in civil litigation, protecting property rights in accordance with the law, developing and improving administrative litigation systems, and achieving judicial digitization. On behalf of the Supreme People's Court of China, Zhang Jun warmly congratulated the successful holding of the conference. He stated that this meeting is a very important high-level judicial meeting under the SCO framework, marking a new historical starting point for judicial exchange and cooperation between the Supreme Courts of SCO member countries, and laying a solid foundation for further deepening cooperation. The attending representatives fully communicated and continued their profound friendship, gathered consensus, achieved fruitful results, and carried forward the past and created a beautiful blueprint. The Supreme People's Court of China is willing to work with the highest courts of participating countries to further deepen judicial exchanges and cooperation under the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and make due contributions to maintaining regional peace, stability, security, and sustainable development, and to jointly building a community with a shared future for mankind. After the closing ceremony, Zhang Jun, as a representative of the host country for the next conference, delivered a speech thanking colleagues from the Supreme Courts of all member countries for unanimously agreeing to host the 20th SCO member state Supreme Court President Conference next year by the Supreme People's Court of China. This decision was included in the Joint Declaration of this conference, and sincere invitations were sent to the Chief Justices, the President of the Supreme Court, the SCO Secretariat, and representatives of the SCO regional anti-terrorism institutions. He hoped to work together with all parties to discuss development, cooperation, and friendship, and strive to establish a model of judicial cooperation, continuously enrich the connotation of judicial cooperation, and widely carry out judicial exchange activities, jointly drawing a new picture and chapter of the development of SCO judicial cooperation. Bakhtiyar Islamov, President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, presided over the closing ceremony and delivered a speech. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Republic of India, Dananjaya Yeswant Chandrachud, the Deputy Director of International Affairs of the Judicial Institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Secretary General of the High Council for Human Rights, Kazem Kalibabadi, the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aslanbek Melhalyev, the President of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic, Zamilbek Bazarbekov, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Kazi Faiz Isa, the President of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, Irina Podnosova, and the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan, Shermohammad Shohiyan, delivered speeches at the closing ceremony. Fu Xinping, a second level judge of the People's Republic of China and the President of the Jiangxi High Court, and Zhang Zejun, the President of the Qinghai High Court, participated in the closing ceremony.
