The 10th batch of military medical experts from China's aid to Ethiopia set out on a mission

On May 16th, the 10th batch of military medical experts from China's aid to Ethiopia went on a one-year medical aid mission to Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. It is reported that the group of military medical experts consists of 13 members, mainly drawn from the First Affiliated Hospital of the Army Medical University, covering more than 10 professional disciplines such as hepatobiliary surgery, cardiovascular medicine, and laboratory science. All members have excellent professional skills and rich experience in non war military operation medical support. After receiving the task, the Army Medical University immediately completed the formulation of the plan, personnel selection, material procurement, and pre departure training. During the domestic training period, members of the expert group received specialized training on psychological regulation, critical illness treatment, infectious disease prevention and control, etc., which improved their ability to carry out foreign medical tasks. The members of the group of military medical experts stated that they will bear in mind their mission, promote international humanitarian spirit, complete foreign aid tasks with high standards, and make due contributions to building a community with a shared future for mankind.
