On the morning of May 1st, on the 93rd anniversary of the establishment of the Red Women's Army, the inspection and flag awarding ceremony of the Red Women's Army Militia Company was held at the Red Women's Army Memorial Park Square in Qionghai City, Hainan Province. At the inspection activity site, the ancient trees stood tall and straight, with flags hunting and all the female militiamen full of energy and heroism. After the military and civilian leaders read out relevant approvals and announced the order for the appointment of key cadres in the company, they awarded flags to the Red Women's Army militia company. The entire militia of the platoon solemnly swore and sang the "Song of Chinese Militia", and the resounding voice echoed through the memorial park square. "The revolutionary era has created a heroic Women's Army. As the new generation of successors of the Red Women's Army, we must vigorously promote the glorious tradition of the Qiongya Column, take the baton, run a new journey, and continue to write about the new glory of the Red Women's Army." At the inspection and flag awarding ceremony, Chen Manyan, deputy director of the Red Women's Army Memorial Park Management Center and the first political instructor of the Red Women's Army Militia Company, expressed determination on behalf of all the militia. It is reported that on May 1, 1931, the Women's Secret Service Company of the Second Independent Division of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army was established. In the 1960s, the film "Red Women's Army" and ballet based on this company were renowned both domestically and internationally. The Red Women's Army Militia Company was established with the Red Women's Army Memorial Park Management Center as the main force, aiming to showcase the good image of female militiamen in the new era through the Red Women's Army Memorial Park as a window. After the ceremony, all staff visited the Red Women's Army Memorial Hall with the theme exhibition of "Qionghua in the Battlefield", watched the art exhibition celebrating the 93rd anniversary of the establishment of the Red Women's Army with the theme of "Passing on the Fire, Not Underestimating Youth", revisited the glorious deeds of the Red Women's Army, and experienced the charm of red culture up close.
