Zhang Zhen, Acting President and Executive Vice President of Zhuhai Institute of Hong Kong, delivered a welcoming speech, stating that Go has a long history and profound culture, which is a perfect embodiment of traditional Chinese wisdom. Every move is a serious decision, and every move is a thinking challenge. Learning Go can cultivate students' observation, judgment, and decision-making abilities. Nie Weiping, the Eternal Honorary Advisor and "Chess Saint" of the Greater Bay Area Go Alliance, delivered a speech stating that learning Go can cultivate people's "overall perspective" and make them see things with greater foresight. The progress of a chess player must go through countless setbacks. Playing Go helps with personal growth and is a good education for children on setbacks. Despite the challenges faced by AI (artificial intelligence) in recent years, many people believe that being a Go player has no future. However, the Go industry still actively faces this setback and effectively improves the player's chess skills through cooperation with AI.
