2024-03-26

On March 24th, the 12th China University Student Television Festival came to an end in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. During the three-day period, the TV Festival held various activities such as TV boutique creative exchanges, "Blooming" theme college student creative support activities, artists entering the campus, exhibition of original works by college students, and the 2024 National College Integrated Media Development and Research Conference, presenting a visual feast for college students. Building a platform to support the appreciation, creation, and participation of outstanding young creators and college students is the characteristic of the College Student TV Festival. The "Blooming" theme college student creation support activity solicits works from college students nationwide, and has received 263 college student scripts and film and television planning works. These works are widely distributed in the participating regions of universities, and their content closely revolves around campus life, social hotspots, and the thoughts and ideas of college students. Based on professional learning, they focus on youth dreams and showcase the spiritual style of young students today. Five works with diverse styles and excellent content entered the on-site proposal roadshow stage. The creative team, expert judges, and college audience of "Good Light and Shadow Growing in the Ground", "Walking towards the Mountains and Seas", "Diving into the Sea at the Beginning of the Day", "Absent Band", and "AI Dad" had discussions. "The work revolves around the topic of ocean conservation, hoping to convey the attitude of contemporary college students towards environmental protection," said Yang Chenghu, a representative of expert review and deputy dean of the School of Art and Media at Beijing Normal University. "These five works focus on social reality, from which we can see the social responsibility and spirit of college students." The College Student TV Festival has set up a stage for the growth and development of young people, encouraging young creators who embrace life and shoulder missions to shine with youthful brilliance in the collision of creativity and images. During the TV Festival, artists walked into the campus to vividly share their artistic stories and creative insights with students. For college students, artists not only bring introductions to art, but also inspire their souls time and time again. Music producer and member of the China Musicians Association, Meng Wenhao, shared on the theme of "How to Choose Style Positioning in Song Creation". Meng Wenhao said, "Music creation should encompass a wide range of genres, especially by deeply exploring the musical elements of China's ethnic and folk music, and combining them with contemporary pop music to create music works that have both traditional heritage and modern aesthetics." Ma Li, President of the China Animation Society, showcased classic animation works such as "Roaming in the Heavenly Palace" and "Nezha Roaming in the Sea", leading students to experience the artistic achievements of old artists and understand the beauty of classics. Ma Li said, "We need to bring classics into the eyes of young people. These rooted, beautiful, promising, and soulful classic works are worth appreciating repeatedly. This way, they can not only deepen their understanding of the story's connotation, but also continuously experience the unique artistic charm of Chinese animation." National first-class director Zeng Weijing used a flowchart as a guide to start a sharing titled "Creativity and Execution". How to classify animated films, how to allocate project personnel, how to set up a scientific production process, and how to compare original drafts with finished films... Zeng Weijing discusses his experience in creating animated films from multiple aspects
