Recently, the premiere of the Uzbek version of the Chinese film "Kashgar Gully" was held in Alisher, Tashkent, Uzbekistan? The Navoi Film Palace will be held. According to the latest statistics from the National Film Administration of China, in 2023, the total box office revenue in China was nearly 8 billion US dollars, with a total of 73 films grossing over 100 million yuan and a total screen size of 86310 yuan. This vast industrial cluster has greatly benefited China's large-scale film production. Chinese Ambassador to Uzbekistan Yu Jun stated that as a bridge of cultural exchange, movies play an important role in enhancing mutual understanding between the two peoples. The current relationship between China and Ukraine is at its highest level in history. "The two governments have formulated specific plans for further common development, including strengthening cultural and humanitarian connections." Yu Jun said that the people of China and Ukraine can not only be connected through traditional friendly relations, but also better understand each other through current connections and shared views and pursuits on values such as love and friendship. In 2023, two Chinese films will be screened at the Tashkent International Film Festival; During the past China Film Week, the television channel of Uzbekistan Television broadcasted 7 films shot in China. In June 2023, Uzbekistan's young director Shakyl Khalikov's film "Sunday" won the Best Picture award in the "Asian Newcomer" segment at the Shanghai International Film Festival. Bahadir Odilov, President of the Uzbekistan Film Association, stated that the premiere of "Kashgar Guli" in the capital Tashkent is a step towards deepening bilateral relations.
