The "China Aerospace Science and Technology Achievement Exhibition" opened on the 6th at the Swiss Transportation Museum in Lucerne, Switzerland. This exhibition lasts for 6 months and aims to showcase the iconic achievements in China's aerospace field, enhancing the Swiss public's understanding of China's aerospace technology. This exhibition is co hosted by the China Science and Technology Exchange Center and the Swiss Museum of Transportation. Viewers can view up close models of 28 iconic achievements in China's aerospace industry, including the Chinese space station, the Long March rocket family, the Chang'e-5 probe, the "Zhurong" Mars rover, and the Beidou satellite. They can also experience the achievements of China's aerospace technology development through interactive experiences. On the opening day of the exhibition, experts from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in China and the International Space University of France gave popular science lectures to the audience, including "What is a spaceship", "How to achieve in orbit management of large-scale constellations", and "Cooperation between China and Europe in the field of space planning". Martin Etlinger, a member of the board of directors of the Swiss Museum of Transportation, stated at the opening ceremony that space exploration has always been a fascinating theme for many people. Since its establishment in 1959, the Swiss Museum of Transportation has held a series of exhibitions on technological innovation in the field of space exploration. China is currently playing an important role in the field of space exploration, and this exhibition will help to enhance people's understanding of space research and enable visitors to understand the latest developments in space technology. Chinese Ambassador to Switzerland, Wang Shiting, stated that this exhibition comprehensively showcases China's achievements in aerospace technology to Swiss audiences through vivid exhibits and display methods, pushing the series of cooperation in the space field between China and Switzerland to a climax, and playing a role in further promoting cooperation in the space field between China and Switzerland in the future, which is of great significance. Gao Xiang, Director of the China Center for Science and Technology Exchange, expressed the hope that this exhibition can inspire visitors, especially the younger generation, to dream of space and promote exchanges and cooperation between experts and scholars from China and Europe in the field of aerospace technology.
